Black Filmmaker Awards

We have to do it for us every time because if we don’t who will!? Black Film Festival launched their first annual Black Filmmaker Awards last weekend. The event was put together by Racine Tyes. Shout out to her because she really made sure to celebrate the honorees and showed their journey through video clips at the awards. In which I thought was outstanding. Congratulations to everyone that were honored including my cousin Reuben Shaw. I had the opportunity to assist with production and casting for his hit film Selector, which is streaming now on Tubi. (Check it out) It’s about a young Caribbean DJ and his journey in the entertainment world.
